Collaboration Opportunity: Treetown Poets

A few of us recently met with Cam, the founder of Poet Treetown, which is a long running series of publicly posted poetry works around the area. We had a bright idea to collaborate with poets and synthesizers to put on a performance somewhere.

My notetaking skills have atrophied since college, but here's a rough idea of what we talked about:

Spoken word poetry backed by ambient soundtrack
Spoken word poetry with live effects processing
Audio clips of poems inserted into eurorack (not live, but improvisational)
event should be aiming for 2 hours
synth folks need time to setup/teardown, so our contributions should probably be no less than 30 minutes per artist (one person plays while another sets up, minimizes downtime)
poetry pieces are 2-5 minutes each, allowing for multiple poets to speak over one continuous synth piece, in a sort of rotation (themed?)
possible places to research for this event
        vertex coffee
        matthias garden
        ypsi food hall
        riverside arts ($$$)
aadl 3rd floor (we have eli and scott as contacts)
        zank (?) house
bibliomancy (open book spoken word improv)
cloud currents (in the crowd instruments)
    butcher paper prompts

If you are interested in participating in this in any way, feel free to speak up in our Discord.
